Lecture: Confessions of a Fabric Whisperer — Ellen Lindner
11:00 am EST-12:00 pm EST Members: Free Non-members: $ 5
What do 750 pins, window screening, and paint have in common? They’ve all been used by Ellen Lindner in creative ways as she’s made art quilts. Join her in an amusing accounting of some of the wacky things she’s done over the years, some of them successful and some of them resulting in “rough drafts.” She’ll share with you why even the unsuccessful ones are useful and why she fearlessly embraces experimentation.
Workshop (Zoom): January 18, 2025 and January 25, 2025 12:45 pm EST- 3:45 pm EST : Floral Improv — In this class you’ll learn how to make flowers without a pattern. Then, you’ll learn how to create a dynamic composition. With Ellen’s pointers on design you’ll be guaranteed to make a masterpiece. Finally, you’ll learn a quick technique for facing and finishing your quilt with NO hand sewing! Members: $ 40 Non-members: $ 45
