Guild Meeting Holiday Bruncheon and Party plus The Joy of Hexies

December 12, 2015

Holiday Get Together: Please note that our next Guild meeting will be on December 12, the second Saturday of the month rather than our usual third Saturday. It will be a festive get together with lots of time for Show and Tell, games, our holiday brunch and for those who are hooked or would like to be hooked on English paper piecing, an introduction to the Joy of Hexies, will be shared by Susan Stessin-Cohn.

Ellen Adalman has graciously consented to tell us one of her famous Left/Right stories and to participate in the game, please bring one of your most wonderful, glorious, splendiferous fat quarters, rolled and tied with a ribbon. Pick a fabric that you love ~ one that you would really like to get back ~ if you were lucky enough to get it back. Leave your uglies at home, because you just might get that one back instead. This was so much fun last time we did it, we know you’ll love it again.

We will be munching earlier in the day than usual so I guess we will be having a BRUNCHEON rather than a luncheon. If you didn’t already sign up at the November meeting, please let Kim Warren know you are coming.

Things to bring on December 12:
~ a brunch dish to share, along with its serving utensil
~ Your place setting of knife, fork, spoon (a plate, too if you so wish ~ we will have paper products available.
~ a beverage if you want something other than or in addition to the coffee and tea that will be available.
~ a fat quarter of fabric for the Left/Right game.
~ All of your wonderful Show and Tell items.
