Local art quilter Carol Weber visits Wiltwyck on October 19th. Carol has won many prizes for her art quilts, including several challenge pieces in which she interpreted famous art masters’ paintings in fabric. She will present the lecture “The Making of a Landscape Quilt.”
Half-Day Workshop, “Machine Landscape Techniques”: Saturday, October 19, 1:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Grace Church. Limit: 20 students. Cost: $20 for Wiltwyck members ($25 for non-members).
Using your sewing machine, Carol will teach raw edge appliqué, thread painting, freestanding threadwork, and free motion quilting techniques.
