My name is Sheila Read (
crafty212@aol.com) I have begun a mission called Holy Sews . We meet at St. James United Methodist Church in Kingston. We are in desperate need of a few people who would help us construct bereavement layettes for babies who pass away before their time usually 17 to 25 weeks gestation. These outfits are given free of any charge to hospitals, funeral homes, or where ever the need might be. They have already been presented to Kingston Hospital, Northern Dutchess Hospital and Leahy Funeral Home. I have replenished Northern Dutchess Hospital recently. I am also in contact with Vassar Brothers Hospital in Poughkeepsie and they would also like some layettes.
