“Our Angee”

As many of you know, Angee is going through a difficult time. She does so much for our guild: chairing our last two biennial shows and then stepping up when we needed her for the next one as well, coordinating all the retreats we have had, and hosting swaps for some of our workshops. She is always ready to do for others. Let’s show our appreciation and support now in her time of need.

Those of us attending the upcoming Spring Retreat are making “heart” blocks, which we will put together in a quilt during the retreat. We would like to invite all guild members to contribute a block as well. The blocks will finish at 9 inches (at least 9.75 inches unfinished, so they can be easily squared). Each block should have at least one heart on it (your choice of method: pieced, appliqué of any type, or even painted; background: cream, off white, light beige in solid or tone-on-tone). Please add a message of thanks and/or support on the block or in a separate note or card if you choose. Please do include your name on the front of the block.

Give your blocks to Gloria Frenza by March 7th, or mail them to her at 156 Krum Road, Kerhonkson, NY 12446 to arrive by that date.
